Separator Design
Use an effective separator design (Dual Separator design with a vertical and horizontal Separator). Optimizing the gas/ liquid separation.
Accuracy & Metering Range
- Water cut range 0-100%.
- Sampler Water cut accuracy – 0.25% absolute.
- Gas flow accuracy – 2.0%.
- Liquid flow accuracy – 1%.
- Liquid Range: 10 – 12,000 Bbl./day (Middle East system).
Water Cut
- The water cut can be determined by using both the Coriolis meter (water and oil densities) and the isokinetic sampler.
- Multiple composite water cut samples per test period which have a volume weighted average. The sample is taken proportional to the flow rate.
- Follow API Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards Chapter 8 -Sampling, Section 2 - Standard Practice for Automatic Sampling of Liquid Petroleum and Petroleum Products.
Operating System
Control System is an Allen Bradley ControlLogix with a SCADA operating system for the HMI. All results can be trended and reported in an Excel format. Data is emailed to the customer within 24 hours of test completion.
